Role in the project "Learning Lives"
I am responsible for interviewing and collecting qualitative data, focussing
on learning through the experience of work. I also undertake subsequent analysis
and interpretation of the data.
Background & Expertise
I started my own working life in education as a Further Education lecturer.
I later moved to direct a Knowledge Transfer project involving collaboration
between Further and Higher Education and industry. Subsequently, I worked
for a training company for six years before returning to teach at a Higher
Education College.
My research interests are in the area of adult learning, identity and
technology relating to working lives.
